Callum joined us this year after spending his first 4 years at Northside FC. It has to be a big wrench to leave a team after that amount of time, particularly at this age, & especially when his best friend & cousin, Sammy, who Callum is very close to, is still very much a key part of the Northside team that Callum left behind.
It’s a huge compliment to our team that Callum decided himself that he wanted to join us, especially considering what he’s left behind.
I strongly believe that he has a very special talent, which positions him right amongst the very best of his age group. That opinion is backed up by the fact that Callum won the MYAMSL Player of the Year award in 2008/09.
Perhaps more importantly at this age, he possesses a superb attitude & a willingness to fit in as part of a team. It’s that attitude which I believe will enable him to go on to achieve special things in the game.
Callum’s outstanding qualities enable him to fit in perfectly with our team. He’s already become very popular amongst his team mates, who have welcomed him with open arms.
It’s an absolute pleasure to welcome him & his huge family entourage into our team!
