Our memorable season continued with the winning of our 4th Champions title, won at the home of Stalybridge Celtic FC. We got the better of some very good teams including Dukinfield FC, Stalybridge Celtic Jnrs & Knuzden Jnrs. There was also an international flavour to the competition with a French U10's team joining in the fun.

In a tough qualification group of 9 teams, we made it through to the semi finals & from there we didn't look back. The semi final & final both ended 1-0 to our boys, who got better the longer the day went on"

09/05/2010 - CURZON ASHTON COMPETITION WINNERS

We went one better than last week yesterday & managed to win the Curzon Ashton tournament. I've attached a photo & a few lines below for the club website.

"It was a day of drama as we came back from 0-1 down in our semi final clash against a strong Marauders FC team to triumph 2-1 at the final whistle. That put us in the final against AFC Clayton. Lewis Dearden broke the deadlock to put us in front and Jack Dunkerley rounded it off with an inch perfect free kick to give us a 2-0 win and our 3rd Champions title of the season."

03/05/2010 - JFC U10's Altrincham FC 6-a-side Tournament - Runners Up

In a tournament featuring Stockport & the surrounding area's finest, we went as close as you can go without winning the whole thing. Topping our table in the group stages we swept through the quarter & semi finals.

Although we had the better of the final against Stockport Junior Blues "A", we couldn't quite manage to find the back of the net.

Extra time came and went….The game had to be decided by the dreaded penalty shoot out. Locked at 4-4 after 6 penalties each, it ended with sudden death heartache for our team, but what a day once again!... Our team were superb only just missing out by the narrowest of narrow margins. Still, finishing Runners Up in such a high class competition is an achievement all the boys should be very proud of.

(Another big thank you to Clad-It for their generous sponsorship of our new kit. Today was it's first outing..... We look like Italy!)
